TERRAPOD

TERRAPOD is a small secondary dwelling built either behind or to the side of an existing property. Such dwellings typically have a separate entrance to the primary dwelling on the plot. They may be attached or detached. Their use may be as a form of private rental accommodation or for the use of a family member or friend.

TERRAKON completes all the work including services and foundations to deliver our 25 Sqm and 40 Sqm TERRAPODS completely finished to a high specification.

Each TERRAPOD are built to the highest building regulation standards with U Values of 0.13 W/m2K for walls, floor and roof.

Windows and Doors are aluminium triple glazed units.

Choice of external finishes, render, brick and stone slips, or Timber Cladding that doesn't affect the price.

Each small homes has low energy infrared heating and instant hot water heating.

Each home has solar panels and battery storage installed for zero energy living.

FIRE PROOF BUILDING SYSTEM

Each TERRAPOD we deliver is fully tested by a third party accredited building system built to last over 100 years.

Terrakon uses a non combustible building system achieving a 99 minute fire rating to the exterior walls.

This ensures complete fire safety for Clients who build in their garden and choose timber cladding products to the exterior walls.

QUALITY BUILDING MATERIALS

TERRAKON uses the highest quality building materials to each TERRAPOD it delivers. We don't use UPVC or Plastic cladding only robust natural building materials.
